Psalm 146 - Psalms of Steel by Robert Dean Steel

Psalm 146 - Psalms of Steel by Robert Dean Steel

The wicked are such a strange breed.
They run after false gods and religions.
Among themselves they make sinful covenants.
Strange agreements with sinful hearts and ways.
Silver, gold, money and possessions are their gods.
The love of money is their root and goal.

Every association, friendship and relationship is evil.
Even their best friends are mockers, cynics or idolaters.
Their vows, promises and word is broken at a whim.
Their promises are like a pocket full of holes.
The friendships that they make with violent men,
Will come back on them and they will be destroyed.

The wicked person pursues vile practices and sins.
No form of sin is beneath them, they chase after sin with glee.
Mockery is their language and sarcasm their drink.
All they do is for themselves.
Even their compassion is motivated by self promotion.
Avoid the wicked and live, follow their ways and die.
