Parable 109 - Parables of Steel by Robert Dean Steel

Parable 109 - Parables of Steel by Robert Dean Steel

What a beautiful sight, sighed Michael.  Michael and his friend had just completed a five mile hike up the side of the mountain.  They had straddled, climbed, jumped and scurried up a trail which was at times was nothing but a goat path.  They had crossed several streams, downed logs and steep slopes.  Now they were standing at the edge of a beautiful mountain lake surrounded by cliffs and mountains reflecting in the lake.  The beautiful blue sky added to the beauty of the moment.  They broke out their fishing rods and caught some lake trout.  When it was time they returned down the trail to their waiting car.  When they arrived at the parking lot, Michael said, "That was a great day."  His friend Ben replied, "Yes it was."  Sometimes to see real beauty you have to travel a difficult trail to get there.  So enjoy the trip and the destination.
