Parable 145 - Parables of Steel by Robert Dean Steel

Parable 145 - Parables of Steel by Robert Dean Steel

The two boys were sitting out in the playground on the merry-go-round.  They did not notice that there was no other children around during recess but that did not stop them from pushing the merry-go-round and jumping on as it went around and around.
Suddenly to their surprise a teacher roughly stopped the merry-go-round and ordered them inside.  They were immediately sent to the principal's office.  He gruffly explained that they were not to be on the playground for certain reasons.  They boys then explained that they did know that.  The principal fired back that he had made an announcement.  They told him that they had not heard the announcement but the principal did not believe them.  He then punished them.  They walked out of the office puzzled and embarrassed.  Two lessons here:  Make sure you are aware of what is happening around you so you will not caught off guard by the unexpected.  Two, if someone says something believe them until other information contradicts it.
