Parable 140 - Parables of Steel by Robert Dean Steel
Mom had just wash and clothed little Johnny. He had been out all morning playing in the sand box with his toys making mud pies and being project manager of a great dam project. Lots of water and sand had been used to construct his project. Now clean Johnny was ready for his next adventure. A knock came from the door and his friend Billy was outside. Johnny ran to the door and open the door and Billy came in. They talked for a moment and then Johnny asked his mother if he and Billy could go outside. His mom said, "Sure." Then as the two boys were walking out the door she asked, "What are you boys going to do?" Johnny replied, "We are going to play in the sandbox" Mom rolled her eyes and went upstairs to get his next change of clothes ready. You can clean up and get ready for life but never be surprised if it gets you dirty again.
