A true worshiper of the Lord knows this.
The battle is not ours but the Lord's.
He will go before and behind.
He will be above and below us.
He will surround those that fear and love Him.
The great challenge for the child of God.
Is the battle within, control of the heart and mind.
Will you give into your will or God's?
The first step to victory is applying the spiritual weapons.
Those that are mighty and can defeat every foe or stronghold.
Your foes and enemies are invisible and cannot be seen.
They are not flesh and blood. Wicked foes in the dark world.
Thrones, dominions, authorities, principalities,
Wicked powers, rulers and spiritual hosts.
Powerful dark forces operating in the heavenly realm.
The Lord has enlisted you in His service.
You are His soldier, warrior and conqueror.
You enemies have already been defeated.
The Lord has already secured your salvation.
His redemption has given you the victory.
This fight of faith is a good battle because you win.
Hold onto your good confession and declaration.
Consecrate yourself and refuse to compromise or surrender.
As you focus on the author and finisher of your faith.
Truly you will conquer and overcome in the Lord.
