Your word Oh Lord dwells forever.
It gives light in the darkness, it guides to truth,
As the sun gives light to the day.
Your word gives light to the soul.

The precepts, statutes and ordinances of your word.
Are radiant light to the lost, dying and broken.
True hope and faith are found in your word.
The commands you give  are the pathway to life.

Your word Oh God, is the light in the darkest of places.
Oh how your people love your word.
It is more precious than silver or gold.
No earthly possession or article can match is value.

When one studies, meditates and applies your word,
They will find true delight in their mind and heart.
Each promise is sure, tested and true,
Thy word oh God, is joy, contentment within the heart.

The person who stands on the word will not be shaken.
They will be strong and do great things.
No weapon, force or enemy will be able to stand before them.
Your Word oh God, is established for all time.
