Psalm 138 - Psalms of Steel by Robert Dean Steel

Psalm 138 - Psalms of Steel by Robert Dean Steel

I was seeking the Lord one day on behalf of others.
With groaning and deep sorrow my heart was broken.
The person who does not know you is so lost.
The irony of it all is that they do not even know it.

The wicked and uniformed spend their lives in futility.
God has shown His wonders everywhere but they so not see it.
So life is futile and ends in terror.
God in your goodness and love, open their eyes.

The person who does not know you is already condemned.
Lord do not let them die in their sins.
Rescue them by your mercy and grace.
Help them to see and send you Holy Spirit to them.

On the last day they will be judged.
Their rejection of your word and refusal to hear,
Will condemn them.  They will be without excuse.
In this moment reveal your salvation and goodness.

They have been blinded by the god of this world.
His deception, accusations and temptations have blinded their minds.
Because of this they will be eternally condemned.
Their punishment will be terrible and eternal.

The immoral, liar, gossiper and people who does evil,
All will be condemned, judged and punished.
Lord in your mercy, grace and love,
Open their eyes and minds before it is too late.
