Parable 121 - Parables of Steel by Robert Dean Steel

Parable 121 - Parables of Steel by Robert Dean Steel

The boy put down his twenty five cents.  The midway carny said, "Go ahead throw the rings on the bottle and win your prize."  He threw once and almost hit the bottle.  He threw twice and missed it.  Finally the third time with the same results.  The carny said, "Try again."  The boy did again with the same results.  Over and over again he tried but with no success.  Finally on his last attempt he succeeded and won.  He Carny handed him a small prize and said, "Your a winner."  The boy walked away and realized that he had spent ten times as much money as his prize was worth.  Before you win a small prize, count the cost of what you will have to pay to get it.
