Psalm 129 - Psalms of Steel by Robert Dean Steel
The Lord exalts and He humbles.
The Lord has promised the steps of a good man
Shall be ordered by the Lord.
There are eight steps to divine life.
The first step is to humble oneself before the Lord.
He will lift you up and make you firm.
The next step is to repent and renounce your sin.
When you mourn over your sin you will be comforted.
The third step is choosing the path of meekness.
This is the mark of a new spirit and heart.
The fourth step is desiring God's word.
Hungering and thirsting for righteousness means you will be filled and grow.
The fifth step is choosing to be merciful an attribute of God.
As you grow in grace and knowledge of Him. God's advancement comes.
The sixth step is purifying your heart and seeking His face.
You will see God and have His vision.
The seventh step is walking and being an instrument of peace.
A true child of God calm in the storms of life.
The last step is standing with those who have gone before.
When you suffer and are presented you will be surrounded by others.
Each step is designed for you to be like your Savior and Lord.
Do not chose the path of the easy.
Walk towards the Lord and chose His path and steps.
Then your way will be good, successful and complete.
