There were two farms side by side. One was well kept and prosperous while the other was unkempt and poverty stricken. The farm that was prosperous was owned by a diligent, hard working godly man. He knew that hard work, effort and patience was important for a prosperous life. The other farm was owned by a man who was lazy and always looking for the quick way to succeed. His lifestyle choices were obvious. Solomon says that a lazy man will soon come to poverty while the diligent man will prosper. Which do you want to be?
