Parable 113 - Parables of Steel by Robert Dean Steel

Parable 113 - Parables of Steel by Robert Dean Steel

The large Asian city was modern and busy.  The buildings were impressive, the grounds and roads were well kept.  As the family waited in a patio area they noticed a well dress man setting up a series of cardboard boxes.  After he had set them up, he took off the backpack he was carrying and put it inside.  He then took off his coat and shoes and then crawled in.  The family then asked a friend who was acting as their guide what the man was doing?  They were told that in that city that thousands of people lived on the streets in this manner.  These were the working homeless.  They had good jobs but because of the housing shortage or family problems they lived on the streets.  Poverty can be deceptive.  Things do not always seem as they appear.
