Parable 127 - Parables of Steel by Robert Dean Steel

Parable 127 - Parables of Steel by Robert Dean Steel

A well meaning friend told the family that the church they were planning to visit was unfriendly and cold.  They however had a friend in the church and they had promised to visit them that Sunday.  They called the taxi on the Sunday morning.  They arrived a few minutes late and was met by a very friendly greeter.  They were given an invitation to stay after church for lunch and they were ushered into the church.  There was not enough chairs so some were set up for them and they sat down.  The singing was uplifting and joyous.  The pastor's sermon was excellent and applicable.  After the closing prayer several members of the church talked with them and then they were led downstairs for lunch.  There they were served a delicious lunch and engaged in conversation with more people from the church.  After lunch as they were ready to leave a member of the church offered them a ride part way to their next destination.  Before you beleive everything you hear investigate it thoroughly or you may be swayed by a lie.
