The Basics

In Heb 6:1-2, The writer of Hebrews gives us something to think about when it comes to the basic doctrines of the Bible.  We are to press onward to maturity but never lay aside ceratin doctrines.  Never forget about repentance from dead works and of faith towards God.  What baptism, laying on of hands, healing for the sick and the work of the ministry are for.  What the resurrection from the dead is all about.  Why people face eternal judgment.  These are basic doctrines of the word.  A person should go to the word today and find out as much as we can.  Do that today.  Your promises today are:  Rom 12:1-2, Matt 6:33, Matt 22:37-40, 2 Chron 7:14, Prov 3:5-6, 1 Cor 6:19-20, Rom 14:17.  Your Insightful Saying is:  Religion is man reaching out to God and philosophy which is man trying to figure out God cannot help you.  Only Jesus' blood can help you know God.
