Psalm 57 - Psalms of Steel
Why do the wicked and unrighteous rage against
the Lord?
Foolish men declare there is no God and He is
dead.
They have no fear, no shame nor dread.
The vain philosophy, dead religion and foolish
traditions,
They expound and proclaim with faulty but firm
conviction.
Yet they do not know who they speak against.
They do not understand the grace of God.
The mercy that is extended when deserved.
How grace brings full and complete salvation.
It transforms the thoughts, speech, attitudes and
actions.
Grace creates kindly acts from a transformed
heart.
He delights in His people.
His favor, beauty and good will, is bestowed upon
us.
The Lord sets the captive free by His grace.
His redemptive mercy has been bestowed upon us.
With joy and great pleasure.
The Lord will give even greater grace to His
people.
Give thanks of Child of God. Rejoice.
The Lord paid our debt. One we could not pay.
His favor, pleasure and delight is ours.
His has given us full salvation.
Each day is an opportunity for releasing the
grace given.
Give thanks with a grateful heart and praise His
name.
