Psalm 67 - Psalms of Steel by Robert Dean Steel

Psalm 67 - Psalms of Steel

The wicked man is arrogant and prideful.
His hearts desires are significance, self worth and security.
He will do anything to get these and hurt anyone to have them.
Truth only exists if it betters his position.
To the wicked morals are paintings on walls.
Scruples are money in Eastern lands.
They run after murder, destruction, pain and hurt.
They have an appearance of Godliness,
But it is a farce, sham and a lie.

How different are the righteous.
Humility is their clothing and their suit.
A necklace of holiness adorns them.
A turban of praise and a vest of worship is their attire.
A cloak of righteousness, trousers of truth,
Shoes of peace and victory take a message of hope.
The righteous are clothed in God’s vestments.
Complete with salvation, redemption and reconciliation.
Truly they are a picture of God’s perfect victory.

The righteous walk in morality and influence.
Men run to them for counsel and advice.
The righteous walk in truth, holiness and grace which marks their path.
In their countenance love and forgiveness flow.
Grace walks before them touch all who come across their path.
Peace is their rear guard and protector, healing all in their wake.
Blessed is all who put their complete trust in the Lord.
They will never be put to shame.
They will never lack and will always have the Lord’s provision.
