The Kingdom of God is like the gardener who spends weeks getting the soil prepared for spring planting. He plows, fertilizes and rids the soil of last years residue. Then he plants each row with care with an expectation of a good harvest. Then each day he waters, gets rid of the weeds and watches over the garden. When the garden is ready for harvest he goes and harvests each area until the entire garden is finished. He then prepares the soil for winter and an with anticipation wait for next years harvest.
