The King of Righteousness!

In Heb 7:1-4, we are looking at one of the questions that have been plaquing scholars through out the centuries and that question is, "Who is Melchizedek?"  Here we have a man that Abraham gives a tenth of all his spoils from the battle he won over the enemies of Sodom.  Here is the Father of the Faithful and the great man of faith paying homage to Melchizedek.  Some say that he was a great prophet of God.  Others say he was a pre-incarnate appearance of Christ.  A Theophany which is the theological term here.  I personally believe that Mechizedek is none other than Jesus Christ Himself.  Here are the reasons why.  First, Melchizedek's name means, "King of Righteousness," and this is what Jesus is known as.  He is known as the King od Salem and Salem means peace.  Jesus is known as the Prince of Peace.  Melchizedek has no mother and father, he just appeared.  He has no beginning or end.  He is known as a priest perpetually.  The writer of Hebrews tells us all this.  All just like the Son of God.  I trust I gave you something to think about today.  Your promises today are, 2 Cor 5:17, Heb 12:1, John 3:17, 1 Cor 13:13 and James 4:7.  Your Insightful Sayings are:  The funny thing about New Age Philosophy and teachings is that it is old age demon worship re-packaged.  Man is a funny creature, wise, thoughtful, kind, generous, and understanding one moment.  The next hateful, prejudice, cruel, rude and foolish.  The only creature capable of such mood changes.
