Psalm 64 - Psalms of Steel
With a clear heart and mind, I will live for you.
Your presence and power helps your people,
To live in self control and victory over sin.
Let me render to you the praise you deserve, Oh Lord.
And live a life that is pleasing to you.
With repentant hearts your people watch for your coming.
As we watch and wait, help us to do your work.
Proclaiming the news of the salvation you bring.
Let us teach the sinner your ways.
By word and example, the ways of morality and holiness.
Oh God of mercy and grace reach out to the foolish.
Those who say there is no God or creator.
Cause them to come to their senses,
Before it is too late and your judgment has come.
In your mercy and compassion pull them out of the pit they have made.
As for us your people enable us to have the mind of Christ.
Help us to conform to His image and will.
Cultivate in our hearts, sound judgment and prudence.
Teach and train us in the ways of righteousness.
Living a life that that is pleasing to you for your glory.
