Psalm 42 - Psalms of Steel
Who is man that you should care for us,
Who are we that you should redeem us from our sin.
We are sinners born in iniquity, unrighteous from the moment we are born.
Every intent of our heart is towards wickedness.
No one of us is righteous. We have all sinned.
The Lord in His love sent His Son.
To be our substitute and our sacrifice.
He gave His life willingly, He endued the cross.
Our sins were placed upon Him and He died in our place.
He took His place among the dead to destroy the power of sin.
Praise the Lord on the third day, He rose from the dead.
The Holy Spirit in His power raised the Son up.
Death, hell and the grave, have been defeated.
Corruption, iniquity, un-righteousness were overcome.
By the broken body and precious blood of Jesus.
Rejoice give thanks, Lift up your hands.
Celebrate His greatness and His wonderful salvation.
Shout, dance, speak forth His praise.
The Lord has redeemed His people from sin.
He offers this gift to all. He is worthy of our worship.
