Psalm 41 - Psalms of Steel by Robert Dean Steel

Psalm 41 - Psalms of Steel

The Lord is to be praised.
He has clothed His people with righteousness.
The Lord has adorned us with holiness and truth.
A necklace of grace has been placed on our necks.
A garment of praise has replaced sorrow and pain.
He has given us a garment of rejoicing and laughter.
For our filthy rags of despair and discouragement.

The Lord has placed us in a habitation of victory.
He has furnished it with love and mercy.
He sits us on couches of humility and service.
On these we find rest and peace in our souls.
Our habitation is built on the foundation of love.
It is framed by salvation and redemption.
It`s roof is shingled by freedom and confidence.

The Lord is our strong tower and fortress.
No weapon or foe can breech its walls.
We are safe and secure in His love.
We look down at our enemies and laugh.
They cannot ascend to us, they cannot harm us.
The Lord will deliver us, His promises are sure.
Give thanks to the Lord.  He name is to be praised.
