Be an Encourager!

In 1 Thess 3:7, Paul was encouraged by the fact that the beleivers in Thessalonica even though they were being persecuted they were standing strong for the Lord.  We need to encourage one another in times of trouble.  The church is the best support system there is for the troubled.  We must stand together.  One man put it this way.  "If we do not stand together we will fall for anything."  Paul exhorts the believers in Gal 6:1-2 to restore the fallen.  Paul was encouraged by the faith of the believers in this city.  They were an inspiration to him as he went through his trials and temptations.  Many times in a dry period of my life I have gone and read the biographies of the great men of the faith.  They have inspired me to continue on.  Today be men and women of faith and you will inspired someone else and you may not even know it.  Your promises today are:  Heb 10:24-25, 1 Cor 10:13, Rom 8:11, 14:17, James 4:7 and Rev 12:11.  Your Insightful Sayings are:  The church is not a building, pews and pulpit, it is the people who love, worship and serve the Lord within its confines.  It is an offense to God to criticise, attack, slander and malign the church He loves.
