In 2 Thess 1:11, Paul is praying that every Christian will live a life worthy of their calling. We have been called by God to do the work that we are doing for Him. We have been called out of a world of darkness and sin and are called into the world of light and life. Paul says that it should be our desire to live in goodness. This is something that comes from God. Paul also brings out that we are to walk in faith. This faith is based on the Lord Jesus Christ and His work on the cross. It is built up through the word of God and grows in the same way. As we desire to do the things of God we shall see the hand of the Lord directing us. The most important thing to remember is to let the Lord direct you. Your promises today are: Jer 10:10, John 1:1, 14, 14:6, 17:17, Eph 4:15, 6:14, 1 TIm 3:15 & 2 Tim 2:15. Your Insightful Sayings are: When the Lord builds a hedge of protection around His people the only thing that can weaken it, is that which comes from within. Hatred, revenge, and prejudice fill a heart that has forgotten about love, mercy and unity.
