Satan

June 19 - Satan - Rev 12:3

Vs 3 -  So there appears another wonder in heaven.  You have a righteous wonder and now an unrighteous wonder.  There is a red dragon which we find out later in the chapter it is satan.  He has seven heads and ten horns.  Daniel provides a similar description in Dan 7.  This description shows that satan has power over the worldly systems both now and in the Tribulation period.  When satan offered Jesus all he kingdoms of the world if he bowed to worship him.  Jesus did not dispute this.  Dominion of the world was taken by satan when Adam fell.  That is why today the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but spiritual.  Satan can only be defeated by what Jesus has done and our authority in what Jesus Christ has done.  In John 3:8, it tells us that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil.  In the Tribulation period the unholy trinity of satan, the beast and the false prophet will rule.
