Why they are

July 17 - Who they are - Rev 14:4

Vs 4 -  This verse clears up who the 144,000 are.  They are not defiled with women.  They are virgins.  This mean they are young men who have not married.  Some say this is figuratively and that they are set aside like virgins.  We know that they have been set aside for a holy purpose.  They are the ones who follow the lamb wherever He goes.  They are set aside for the Lord Jesus Christ.  They follow His will plans and purposes.    They only have one commander and that is the Lamb.  They follow Him, His morals, courage and example.  They are like Jesus on the earth.  Next, the have been redeemed from among mankind.  They are young Jewish men.  They are the first fruits belonging to God and to the Lamb.  They shine as lights in a dark world.  Their only purpose is to do the will of the lamb.  Many believe that they are young Jewish evangelists.  Whatever they evangelist thrust will be they will stand out as righteous examples during the darkest period of human history.  They came from a dark world.  Young Jewish converts sent aside for God for his will in a world that was only during the will of the beast, false prophet and the dragon.
