July 7 - Lamb's book of life - Rev 13:8

Vs 8-9  -  This is one of the most frightening and impactful verses in the Bible.  All the earth will worship him.  All age brackets, genders, tribes, nations, tongues and races.  Anyone whose name is not written in the Lambs book of life.  This lamb was slain from the foundation of the world.  In Gen 3:15 a prophecy is given about the seed of the woman crushing the head of the serpent.  Jesus was to be the lamb slain.  It was determined even before the world had come into being.  The foreknowledge of God is amazing. 

      Those whose name is not written in the Lamb’s book of life will worship him.  If anyone has the ability to hear they must hear and heed what is being said.  This book was also mention to the church at Sardis.  These verses indicate that the political and religious world of the anti-christ will be inseparable.  You follow his political system means that you also worship Him.  He becomes God.  It will be his image that will be in the temple.  He will make war with the Jews, the saints and with anyone who does no submit to his rule and authority.  He will be god to the world at this time.  He will be venerated like no other man in history.  This will go on for 3 ½ years.  Heed what is being said John says because it has eternal consequences.
