This is your day.

There is a wonderful thought from the Psalms which says, “This is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it.  When we get up in the morning we should have a desire to do something fulfilling through the day.  Here are five things you can do that will make your day more productive, fulfilling and creative.  Your called to redeem the time as a Christian.

I found the great article online and I thought I would present it to you.  They have some great thoughts

1.    SET GOALS & PRIORITISE YOUR TIME
A wise first step is to set goals for yourself and what you want to achieve. It’s going to provide you with direction, and you won’t feel as lost or confused. You must acknowledge you’re only one person and only have so much energy to give so you should focus on prioritising your time as well. If you want to live a more fulfilling life, then you must commit to continuous learning and growing. The more you know, the more likely you are to meet and exceed your goals and find success. Be willing to take calculated risks and use any failures you experience as learning opportunities for the future.

2.    GIVE BACK
Another way to live a more fulfilling life is to give back to others and the community when you can. Giving back comes in all different forms and opportunities. For example, you can volunteer your time or donate your money, or do both. You may want to donate to a charity, if you want to commit to continuous or ongoing voluntary charity work. You can help ensure people receive clean water daily or sponsor an orphan and send them to school so you can help change their future. Giving back to others will not only put a smile on their face but also yours. It’s a win-win situation in the end.

3.    CONNECT WITH OTHERS
Building meaningful relationships is another essential aspect of how to live a more fulfilling life. It’s wonderful if you have a lot of money or a big home, but you may find these “things” don’t bring you happiness. You might come to find that being with loved ones and having people to lean on throughout your days is more gratifying. Create experiences and memories with these individuals, so you have them to look back on and cherish forever. Nurture your relationships and invest time and energy into them so that you can reap the full benefits of having close connections in your life.

4.    BE THANKFUL
Practising daily gratitude can also help you to live a more fulfilling life. Being thankful for what you have will allow you to maintain a positive mindset and focus on all the good that surrounds you. It’s a way to shift your focus to a more productive mindset and will keep you from having negative thoughts and thought patterns that can be harmful to your health and happiness. You may want to keep a gratitude journal and review it often so you remember to look over your list regularly and can ensure you stay focused on what truly matters in your life.

5.    ADOPT HEALTHY HABITS
Take good and better care of yourself if you want to be happier and have more energy to carry you through the day. Adopting healthy habits will put you on the right track to living a healthy lifestyle and feeling more fulfilled. You’ll be getting better sleep, exercising and eating right, and reducing your stress in the process. When you feel your best, you’ll be more motivated to get out there and go after your goals and have the drive to want to improve your life situation. You’ll look in the mirror and have more self-confidence and find that self-discipline isn’t the enemy but that it can truly positively transform your life.

God has called us to be all we can be and this is just one way this can happen.  You are God’s ambassador in your world.  Stay focused and productive
