Vs 13 – Now what will make people believe in him is the same old thing.  He will do great wonders.  It will not be tricks however because satan will give him the power to do so.  Spiritual beings have the power to enter the natural realm and when they do it is supernatural in nature.  It suspends the natural law at the time.  This person because of his connection with the unholy trinity will be able to do this.  This will cause all to believe in him and what he is presenting.  He will even bring fire out of heaven to the earth.  This will be in the sight of men.  It will probably be done to execute judgment.  They will look at him as a Moses type bringing justice, judgment and man’s rule on the earth.  Mankind has always been looking for divinity in himself and this man will personify that and also point to the beast as the true object of worship on the earth.  A satanic counterfeit for the real thing.  Satan can only produce a cheap copy for the real thing.  Unfortunately there are tw many that will take the copy over the real.
