May 12 – The star – Rev 9:1
Vs 1 - The fifth
angel sounded his trumpet and a star fell from the sky to the earth. Obviously it is a supernatural
occurrence. Now whether or not human
beings will see it we do not know. This
star was some sort of spiritual being which most scholars believe is satan. It was given the key to the shaft of the
Abyss. This Abyss is the holding place
for the creatures that have been held for this moment. To think that the Lord has held these
creatures for this long is amazing. Some
have speculated that these are actually fallen angels which Peter says are
being held for judgment. In the
Septuagint, or Greek version of the Hebrew Bible, the word represents both the
original unfinished creation (Genesis 1:2.
It is also known as the place that leads to hell. A time of great spiritual upheaval is
coming. Are you ready for the ones you
will be facing today. With the Lord with
you shall overcome.
