Cannot die

May 16 – Cannot die – Rev 9:5-6

Vs 5 – There are three things that these creatures would be allowed to do. They were allowed to torture all those who did not have the mark of God. They were not allowed to kill them but the duration of this judgment was five months. The agony that the victim would face would be like that of one being stung by a scorpion. Instant pain, swelling, redness, and paralyzation. There would be no relief. This will go on for five months. They will not die. The whole world will suffer. Millions of all ages will suffer. Can you imagine a mother trying to care for their children when they themselves are in the same agony? People will be driven mad because of pain. No medication, drug, or medical help will cure this. There will be no relief and it will affect everyone. A worldwide pandemic

Vs 6 – During those five months, people will actually seek death during this time. They will want to die because the pain is so intense. They will try to commit suicide, shoot each other. Demand friends and relatives to kill them but death will not come. For five months death on the earth will be suspended. Young and old, rich and poor, mighty and lowly will all face the same torment. They will know this is God because of the fact they cannot die. No wonder thee angel cried woe, woe, woe. He knew how terrible life would become. He saw these creatures and what they would do. He knew that mankind would be afflicted. The pain so harsh that many would try to die but death will not come only pain and more pain.
