Day of God

 August 14 - Day of God - Rev 16:14

 

Vs 14 – These three impure spirits or demons have the ability to do one thing.  They will perform signs.  They will be able to do the supernatural and this will convince people to follow the unholy trinity of the devil, the beast and the false prophet.  These signs will be supernatural because they are spiritual in nature.  Miracles and signs are the breaking of natural laws to bring about unnatural results.  They will heal, raise the dead and do false signs.  Their second function is to go out to the kings of the earth.  They will gather and convince the nations and their leaders of the final solution.  The final solution is to destroy any manner and form of God in this world.  They will gather the kings, nations, tribes and languages all to fight a battle against the almighty God.  The amazing thing is that they are convinced they will sin.  That is the ultimate in delusion and insanity.  They lost the first battle in heaven and now to think they will win the battle against the Lord with natural means and people is beyond comprehension and insanity.  This verse calls this the great day of the Lord and the reason it is a great day is because the Lord will win and right all wrongs and made all things as they should be.
