March 17 - Vignettes on Prayer

March 17 - Vignettes on Prayer

The last compound name we are going to look at in this section of vignettes is Jehovah Raah, The Lord is my shepherd.  This comes from Psalm 23:1, where David says the Lord is my shepherd I shall not want.  God is going to lead, guide and direct us.  He is going to protect, provide and keep us.  Jesus called Himself the good shepherd and He would lay down his life for us His sheep.  Jehovah means the existing one.  The one who exists gives us life.  He leads our lives.  In prayer we find His will and guidance.  In prayer we receive His protection and keeping power.  Grace means to have complete life.  The shepherd of our soul gives us grace, peace mercy and help in our time of need.  This is all given when we pray and divine connection to the power source.  We are plugged into God and His power, anointing, victory and healing come in our times of prayer.  You are never alone.  He is only a prayer away.  You never need to not know where to go or what to do.  The Lord is your shepherd so connect today with Him through prayer.
