Aug 11 - Vignettes on Prayer
We are almost finished our vignettes on understanding prayer. We see for example that prayer involves not only presenting our requests to God but having communion, communicating and fellowship with Him. In the lives of the Christ and the great men of faith we are taught that prayer is a vital and necessary part of a victorious life. There are certain definite principles of prayer which must be followed if we are going to be successful in prayer. Prayer must be made in faith. It must be in Jesus name, the word and through the blood of Jesus Christ. Prayer must be in accordance with God’s will, word and wisdom. Prayer will be successful when a person has confessed and renounced sin in their own life and is willing to forgive others.
