The Amazing Jesus

Whenever Jesus did something people were amazed.  When He stop the wind and the waves with a command His disciples were amazed.  When Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead people were amazed.  When Jesus was shown for who He was on the Mount of Transfiguration the disiciples were again amazed.  Jesus was and is amazing.  He was born in an amazing way.  He follow an amazing routine, He was a man of prayer.  He was amazing because He only wanted to do the will of the Father.  Something unheard of even today by the average Christian.  Jesus learned obedience by the things He suffered which is amazing considering how many of us today consider any kind of trials something we try to avoid under any circumstances.  What is the most amazing about Jesus is that he went to the cross, allowed Himself to be crucified and die for our sins.  He became our sacrifice and substitute.  This is amazing.  He allowed His body to be broken and His blood to be shed so you and I could have a relationship with God.  What is also amazing is that Jesus rose from the dead and by this resurrection He secured complete and total victory over death, hell and the grave.  He broke the power of the world, the flesh and the devil.  All absolutely amazing.  So today make a choice to serve this amazing Jesus with every fibre of your being and follow Him for He is amazing and in turn you will become amazing for Him.  Your promises today are:  1 Cor 6:19-20, Rom 12:12, Matt 6:33, 2 Chron 7:14, Matt 22:37-40, Prov 3:5-6.  Your Insightful Sayings are:  Encouraging others is the mark of someone who has learned the path of love.  Possession of material gain and the pursuit of things is like trying to drain the ocean with a thimble.
