Jesus is our Victory

In Mark 10:46-53, we have the account of Jesus healing a blind man named Bartimaeus.  The man called out to Jesus to heal Him and when he came to Jesus, Jesus asked Him if he wanted to be healed and of course he said, "Yes."  Jesus then granted His request.  Through this story we learn several things.  First, when the crowds and the disciples told Bartimaeus that Jesus was busy he refused to be quiet  When you want something from the Lord keep pressing in and do not give up until He hears you.  When Jesus asked this blind man what he wanted he was specific.  You must be specific in what you want from God.  If you know what you want it helps brings focus to your prayers.  James 4:2, says you have not because you ask not.  Then when Jesus granted it Bartimaeus rejoiced and followed Jesus.  When you have received what you want from the Lord, rejoice and follow Him even closer than you do,  Jesus has done so much for you and so being His ambassador is a small thing to do.  Today your promises are:  Isaiah 53:5, 1 Pet 2:24, James 4:2, Matt 6:33 and 1 John 4:4.  Your Insightful Sayings are:  God does not concern Himself about how you worship Him but that your worship Him.  Only a life in tune with the master will play the right song for His glory.
