Sept 16 - Vignettes in Prayer
God works in mysterious ways his wonders to behold. A young woman had her life all planned out. She was planning in the fall after high school to go to university and become a medical doctor. She was an honor student and her path was set as far as she could see. Her family was visited on her graduation by two northern missionaries. They congratulated the young woman then made a suggestion to her that she should consider a semester of Bible College. She told them she did not have any money for the registration fee to which they gave her an amount of cash to cover the fee. She dearly loved this couple and thought their suggestion was actually a good idea. Her intent was to use her medical degree for missions so the thought of a semester of Bible College would be beneficial. She prayed and a peace came over her heart. When you pray about decisions whether major or minor God’s peace is essential. He will keep us in perfect peace when our minds are stayed on Him.
