The Pure

Feb 10 – Psalm 18:25-26 – The Pure

David then does a comparison study or thought pattern.  To the faithful the Lord is faithful.  Faithfulness is something we will be judged on.  The Lord has promised to be faithful.  To not do so would go against His character.  To the blameless the Lord will be blameless.  There is a reward for being a certain way.  Also we reap what we sow.  These are all lifestyle choices we make.  Each choice has a consequence.
To the pure the Lord will show Himself pure.  Purity is such a great place to be.  To not have anything between you and God.  To live in such a way that the devil cannot attach blame to you.  He has no ammunition to work from.  David closes it off by saying to the wicked the Lord will be shrewd.  He will not deal with them in the same manner he deals with the righteous.  God will deal with each person according to their nature and choices.  A great thought for the righteous not a good thing for the wicked.  Remember we reap that we sow.
