Small Beginnings

Small Beginnings – Sixty Two

The Bible teaches that we should never despise small beginnings (Zech 4:10), the Lord looks for people who are willing to be used in any situation.  Are you that person?  God is looking for the next Daniel or Joseph.  People who are willing to be used in any place at any time.  Joseph started out in Egypt as a slave, then as a prisoner.  Daniel started out as a captive.  Let us review some people who started out with small beginnings.  Shamger had an oxgoad in his fight.  David started out with a staff and then went to a sling to defeat Goliath.  Samson used a jawbone of a donkey to defeat his enemies when they tried to capture him.  He also called out to the Lord that time.  Rahab used a red cord in a window to save herself and her family.  What are you using to save your family?

Mary had ointment when she anointed Jesus.  What do you use to get and receive the anointing.  Remember it is the anointing that breaks the yoke.  Aaron had a road or staff.  Dorcas had a needle.  With it she touched many people.  All were used of God.  God is looking to use you today.  What is in your hand?  Whatever you have use it.  Whatever gift, skill or vocation.  Use it for the glory of God.  You can make a difference.  Remember all the people mentioned had great ministries that started out with a small thing.
