July 7 - Vignettes on Prayer
In our last snap shot we looked at the prayer life of George Mueller. Some have stated that He is the greatest example of faith in the area of prayer in the modern era. Mueller stated, “When one I am persuaded that a thing is right, I go on praying for it till the end comes. I never give up. Thousands of souls have been saved in answer to my prayers. The great point is never give up until the answer comes. The great fault of the children of God is they do not continue in prayer. They do not go on praying, they do not persevere. If they desire anything for God’s glory, they should pray until it comes.” This is great advice for us to stand upon today.
