Who Christ really is

Once again we are looking at John 1:1-18.  John relays the following truths to prove Christ's incarnation and divinity.  He was in the world and even He made it, the world did not know Him.  Jesus came to give men power and to make them the Sons of God, if they will believe in His name.  He came to help mankind become born of God by a super natural way by the will of God.  Jesus told Nicodemus that He must be born again.  This is a work of the Holy Spirit.  The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.  The glory of God is shown and He is God's only Son.  Jesus Christ is full of grace and truth and because of this we are truly blessed.  He is the only man who ever lived who truly saw God and He is the Son of God.  John is showing us that Jesus is all He said He was and more.  Right from the beginning we are aware of who Jesus is and what he has come to do.  Our response should be, "Lord make me an instrument in your hand for your praise and glory."  Your promises today are:  Psalm 50:23 148:14, 149:1, Isaiah 25:1, 38:18, Phil 4:6, 1 Thess 5:18 and Heb 13:15.  Your Insightful Sayings are:  Gossip is tasty to the ears and tongue until it is about you.  The issues of the heart can only be hid for a time before they surface in actions, speech or attitudes.
