Psalms of Steel
Who is Jesus
Christ the conqueror of death?
He is the one
who was foretold by the prophets.
How they long
to see and know what His people know.
Death could
not hold Him and corruption fail to destroy Him.
No power in
the universe can stand in His way.
He is the name
above every name, the King of Kings.
Jesus allowed
Himself to submit to the will of God.
He allowed
Himself to hang on the cross.
To die on
cross for our sins. A price far too
high.
Three times
Jesus entered the realms of death.
To rescue
victims heading for a lost eternity.
Lazarus,
Jairus daughter and the widow of Nain`s son.
He brought
them back to life for the Father's glory.
Jesus
demonstrated His victory over death.
By rising from
the dead and showing death as defeated.
He gives
eternal and abundant life to all who receive Him.
He carries
with Him the Keys of death, hell and the grave.
Never again
will they triumph over Him or His people.
Who He sets
free are free indeed. Praise the Lord.
Truly Jesus is
the victor in this life and the next.
He will call
all mankind from death's domain.
The fear of
death is destroyed and it has become a portal of victory.
One great and
glorious day, He will in an act of power and
He will
completely destroy death at last.
The sting of
Death will be gone forever. Give thanks
to the Lord.
