Psalm 82 - Psalms of Steel
Who is like your Son, Oh God.
He has been the rising and falling of many throughout the world.
To His people, He is the Savior and Healer.
He saves and heals both physically and spiritually.
Jesus is the giver of the Holy Spirit.
The Spirit will lead the child of God into all truth.
The Holy Spirit will convict and convince the world of three things.
Of righteousness, because only the Son can clothe us with righteousness.
Of sin, because this separates us from our Father.
But was dealt with through the death, burial and resurrection of the Son.
Of Judgment, because the promoter of evil has been judged.
When the devil reminds you of your past, remind him of his future.
Jesus has been accused of keeping bad company.
He was a friend of publican and sinners.
He was accused of gluttony and drunkenness.
He went to where the sinner was to save them.
The Son of God was accused of Blasphemy.
He dared to claim something that was already His.
He was accused of being Insane.
He healed, delivered, love, accepted and forgave others.
By the standards of then and now, insane and wonderful.
He has come to set the captive free.
To heal all who are brokenhearted and need mending.
To proclaim liberty and bring freedom to all who are captive.
Jesus was accused of being possessed by evil spirits.
Only the religious fail to see who is their father.
It is the sick who know they need a doctor.
The so called healthy are dying and fail to see their own sickness.
The sickness of narrow mindedness, spiritual barrenness and sterility.
He was accused of breaking the Sabbath.
When in reality He is the Lord of the Sabbath and the one who created it.
Jesus was accused of treason because He is the King of Kings.
A title only He can possess and fulfill.
He is the Prince of Prince, the wonderful counselor and Mighty God.
He is the everlasting Father, the Firstborn among many Brethen.
Praise His name that we are joint heirs with Him. Bless His Holy Name.
