Enoch

David.
For the next few days I am going to write about one of my favorite people in the Bible. In the Book of Genesis we are introduced in Gen 5:22 to a man called Enoch. Now there are only two passages that talk about Enoch but his life speaks volumes. I wish to focus on His life of prayer. Now we do know that Enoch was a man that lived only 365 but his testimony was that he walked with God. He had a powerful relationship. This relationship was for a period of 300 years. It is obvious that prayer was a vital part of this walk. You cannot walk with God and not pray. It is impossible. To not pray is like not breathing. Enoch was so close to God that God gave him special insight. He saw things that no man could see without a personal and intimate relationship with God. Prayer is the key that unlocks heaven. It is the conveyor belt that brings all you need from the divine into the natural. Enoch had discovered this secret. He communed with God for 300 years. This relationship was so sweet that He is only one of two men who never died. One day he went for a walk with God and never came back. It has been said that when the two witnesses minister during the tribulation period that one of them will be Enoch. The one thing we do know is that is prayer life was beyond any person of His time. We need that type of prayer walk today. Men who walk with God so close they know the slightest whisper God makes. I know I long for that. Yesterday I talked about hungering and thirsting after righteousness.. It is clear that Enoch found this and we should strive for this as well. Let us make our testimony like Enoch. He walked with God and so should we.
