Sept 25 – Gracious Lord – Psalm 116:6-7
There are so
many great things in these two verses.
The Lord is gracious. He reaches
out to sinful man and extends to him a merciful hand. Remember grace is fist and foremost unmerited
favor. We did not get what we
served. Jesus showed this numerous times
in His ministry. The gospel states that
Jesus was moved with compassion. The
Lord is righteous. There is no evil in
the Lord. He is complete and totally
love and light. He is always right. He
moves in compassion. Jesus always moved
with compassion. This is the nature and
character of God. He is love and love
always has compassion on those who need it.
The Lord
protected those who come like little children.
Jesus said the person who has childlike faith will always welcome in the
Kingdom of God. If you want to great in
God’s kingdom you have to come like a child.
A child does not question they just believe what they are told. The psalmist was in great distress and the
Lord saved him. The Lord loves to come
and help in the nick of time. God is
never early or late. He is always on
time so remember that today.
