True Heart

Romans 2:22-24 – True Heart

Vs 22 – You tell others not to commit adultery.  Do you commit adultery?  You say you abhor idols but do you rob temples?

Vs 23 – Paul then reveals their true heart.  They brag about the law but then dishonor God by breaking the law. 

Vs 24 – Jesus then quotes a Jewish sage, “As it is written, “God’s name is blasphemed among the gentiles because of Jewish behavior.  Interesting charge because Paul was the model Jew.  You can justify any behavior when you wrap it up in religious lingo and the nobility of the religious cause.
