God is Kind – Romans 2:4-6
Vs 4 – When you judge you show contempt for God. God is kind, tolerant and patient. These qualities bring about repentance,
salvation and forgiveness. The message
of the cross is one of reconciliation between man and God.
Vs 5 - Paul then
reveals that when a person has a stubborn and unrepentant hear, they are
storing up wrath against themselves. God
is recoding and keeping an account.
Jesus said that every word, thought and action is being recorded. Only salvation and forgiveness can erase the
tape. Paul reminds His audience that there
is day coming when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.
Vs 6 – God will give to each one judgment appropriate for
what they have done. God is not mocked
whatever a person sows they will reap.
