Roman 2:7-9 – Doing Good
Vs 7 – Paul talks about being persistent in doing good. When you sow goodness you will a harvest of
godliness. When your motivation for doing
good for others is doing it in the name of the Lord you will receive from the
Lord, glory, honor and immortality included with your eternal life.
Vs 8 – Paul contrast this by saying that those who are self
seeking, reject the truth and follow evil will have only one future, wrath and
anger.
Vs 9 – It does not matter if you are a Jew or Gentile. Any one who does evil will have trouble and
distress. All have sinned and come short
of the glory of God.
