-  God gives Gideon a unique plan of attack.  Jud 7:15-18

-  Midian is overwhelmingly defeated by Israel.  Jug d 7:19-8:21

 

Other events in Gideon’s Career

 

-  He is offered the crown of Israel and refuses it.  Jud 8:22-23

-  He foolishly makes a golden ephod which later becomes snare to Israel.  Jud 8:24-27

-  He judges Israel for 40 years, had 70 sons and dies at an old age   Jud 8:28-32, 9:2
