Final Thought

The Last Thought – One Hundred

As we complete this last word or thought it is important to note God`s presence.  Moses said “If the presence of the Lord does not go before us we will not go up.”  You cannot do the work of God without His presence.  His presence breaks down all doors and iron bars.  It has the ability to change a situation or circumstance in a moment.  The presence of God brings fullness of joy.  His presence forces people to deal with their faults, failures and sin.
The presence of the Lord went before Jesus wherever He went.  Jesus is the presence of the Lord in flesh.  When Jesus calmed the storm, His presence brought peace to the people in the boat.  Jesus brought love into the woman at the well and the one who was caught in adultery.  Jesus was the presence in compassion.  He was the presence in healing.  He was the presence of God in driving out demonic power.  Jesus brought joy at parties and wedding.  Banquets were never the same when Jesus left.  You see when the presence of the Lord comes into a place it will never be the same again.
The Apostle Paul experienced the presence of the Lord when He met Jesus on the road to Damascus.  Paul was never the same after that experience.  The presence of the Lord brought new purpose and direction to Paul’s life.  He was willing to die for the presence of the Lord.  John the Apostle on the Isle of Patmos after encountering the presence of the Lord wrote about the future.  The Presence of the Lord gives hope and a future.   When you have been in the presence of the Lord life is never the same.  You will never see the world the same way.  It spoils you for this world.  You see the world as it really is, stale, cold, lifeless and void.
Today seek the presence of the Lord in its fullness.  Be desperate for God’s presence.  Hunger and thirst for it and you will not be disappointed.  In the presence of the Lord are love, joy, peace, grace and mercy.  God’s presence will strengthen and empower you.  His presence is a light in a dark world.  The pureness of the presence of the Lord can never be matched by anything in this universe.  Today desire and seek for His presence.  The presence of the Lord is food for the spirit and soul.  Delight in His presence and release your victory in Him.
