A little boy
one time on TV said thank you mommy. We
should be thankful for mothers. They do
a great job and also are the backbone of the home. The internet is full of great stories of
mothers who are incredible. So is the
Bible. Moses’ mother hid him from the
decree of Pharoah. Samuel’s mother
dedicated him to the Lord. Mary the
mother of Jesus was a great woman of faith and had the privilege of raising the
savior.
A mother has
the role of correcting children when necessary.
Instruct in the practical living and in the things of the Lord. Mothers are to show they children how to love
the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind and strength.
Mothers set
the example in honoring their husbands. Leading
in the home. To be not gossips but speak
good things to others. To teach, train, nurture,
control, and love. In the same way
husbands are to stay with their wives until death. Love their wives, honor them and protect
them.
Mothers are female parents who nurture, care for, and raise children, representing a foundational role in families and societies across the world. Thank you for who you are and what you have done.
