Oct 15 – If the Lord – Psalm 124:1-3
David opens by reminding His readers that if the Lord had not been on His side then His enemies
Would have overwhelmed and defeated Him. They would have been swallowed up and defeated.
This is a truth you need to remember today. You have enemies who want to robbed, kill and destroy
You. You need the victory that the Lord can only bring. Paul reminds us that our weapons in this
War are not carnal but spiritual. You need to put on the armor of God. You need to pray in the spirit.
You need to know the Word. You need to stand together in the Lord. The battle belongs to the Lord.
Remember when the enemy comes in like a flood the Lord will raise up a standard against Him.
Jesus destroyed the works of the devil. If you submit to God when you resist the devil he will flee from
you. You are not a victim, or conquered. You are an over comer, victor and more than a conqueror in
Jesus Christ.
